Two-time winner of website of the year (2017, 2019) slimleren.nl helps over 25,000 primary and secondary school students in the Netherlands with self study on their computer or tablet. Studies are held in an interactive way, supported and supervised by teachers.

The brief

Slimleren wanted to make use of an animation that would demonstrate the product proposition and background story of slimleren.nl in a clear way. This animation need to adhere to the company's distinctive style, and could be used in other branding and communication assets as well.

The answer

A great idea with a clear mission needs a brand story that grasps the essence of the product. After writing an advertising product pitch, we translated this into an animation that serves as a basis for all other marketing and communication endeavours. Slimleren didn’t only win an award for Website of the Year, but has also become a market leader in online self studying. Smart!
