As 2023 comes to an end, the doors of the new Strangelove office (more on that later) will also be closed for a week. We would like to reflect together on the events that unfolded in the past year. For us, 2023 can be summed up in one word: fantastic! We welcomed many new colleagues, and even a baby Stranger was born! The team continues to grow, and we hope to continue this upward trend in the new year.
From Zuid to West
But first... we will enjoy a week of some well-deserved time away. Like every year, Strangelove closes its doors between Christmas and New Year's, to regroup and start the new year refreshed on January 2nd. This new year also brings with it a brand new office. The group of hardworking Strangers grew larger and larger and eventually no longer fit in our office at the Olympic Stadium. As iconic as this location, and with many great moments we experienced there, after two years, it was time to say goodbye.
The big move
Fortunately, the Strangers got a worthy replacement, within cycling distance of the old office. It is with great pleasure that we announce that starting this week, you can find us at Koningin Wilhelminaplein 29 in Amsterdam, within the World Fashion Center building. We’re sharing a curated and creative office space with renowned architectural firm INBO, which is not only convenient but also super pleasant! The first table tennis tournament is already scheduled, and we look forward to the first joint gathering.

Exploring new territories
This year we also entered new territories, beyond our usual digital-first branding, consultancy and communication services. Our clients raised the bar and we responded with pleasure! We produced a record number of videos, dabbled in branding for interior spaces and spatial orientation (yes!), merchandising, billboard campaigns and full print magazines. Additionally, many new B2B clients and schools have chosen us as their creative business partner for the upcoming year! We're super excited about this and look forward to collaboratively bringing innovative projects to life.
Optimistic towards 2024
With so many nice new colleagues, the new office, and a fantastic client base full of exciting projects, we are very grateful.
